At Bethel Pasadena, our core values are rooted in the Word of God. They guide how we worship, serve, grow in faith, and care for one another.
These seven biblical principles reflect who we are as a church family and our commitment to living out the teachings of Jesus Christ.
1. Integrity — 2 Corinthians 5:17
We believe that a life transformed by Christ should reflect honesty, integrity, and a commitment to doing what is right.
2. Evangelism — Matthew 28:18–20
We are called to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, reaching beyond the walls of the church to bring hope and salvation to others.
3. Discipleship — Ephesians 5:1–2
We are committed to growing in our faith, following the example of Christ, and encouraging others to walk in His love.
4. Love — 1 John 4:7
We believe love is at the heart of our Christian faith. We strive to demonstrate God’s love through compassion, kindness, and genuine care for one another.
5. Prayer — Luke 18:1
We believe in the power of prayer and the importance of maintaining a personal relationship with God through consistent communication and faith.
6. Commitment — James 1:22–25
We are committed to putting God’s Word into action, serving faithfully, and demonstrating our beliefs through the way we live.
7. Leadership — 1 Peter 2:9
We believe God calls each of us to be an example of His goodness, serving others with humility, purpose, and a spirit of excellence.
